Our Escapee
It seems I should have let you girls know how to keep the little buggers in the crib. With our crib we were able to drop the mattress all the way down to the floor. Won't work with all cribs but seems to be working for now. We have also had several conversations with Andrew about sleeping and staying in the crib. Sounds crazy, I know, but so far so good.

That is a great idea! If Will makes the great escape again then we'll be doing that as well... did you just take the piece out that holds the mattress??
I think Phillip just dropped the whole thing on the floor with the piece under the mattress. You could probably get a few extra inches if you took the piece out. Once you drop it make sure to check for any sharp things sticking out or any big gaps. I think we did leave the bottom piece in so that there wasn't too big of a gap between the bottom of the crib and the top of the mattress. Good Luck!
I checked ours out and I think we can drop it down to the floor... at least I'm hoping because there is no way he's getting a toddler bed right now. He hasn't tried to escape again yet... I am thinking the last time scared him and he won't try it again anytime soon. But we're totally screwed if he realizes he can get out and then go play... if that happens there's going to be no keeping him in :) Has Andrew started napping again for you??
